Before we make your sample
What weight jersey do I need for a boxy tee?
Roughly 230-280 gsm holds a boxy square silhouette without collapsing. The same pattern cut in 160-200 gsm reads as "too big" rather than intentionally oversized.
Is oversized just a bigger size?
No. A true oversized pattern scales chest, length and armholes together from its own pattern. Sizing up a regular tee lengthens everything in ways that read accidental rather than deliberate.
What does drop shoulder mean?
The shoulder seam falls onto the upper arm instead of the natural shoulder point. It is a construction choice that layers onto oversized, boxy or cropped fits — specify the drop distance or send a reference garment.
Can I get a boxy fit in a lighter fabric?
It can be cut, but it will not hold the silhouette — the square shape depends on fabric structure. If summer weight matters, we discuss the trade-off at design review: a slightly heavier fabric or a different fit.
Do cropped tees cost less because they use less fabric?
Not meaningfully. Labor, decoration and finishing dominate tee cost; a few centimeters of hem length barely moves fabric consumption.
What is the MOQ for an oversized tee program?
MOQ is 50 pieces per style, per color.
How long does an oversized tee sample take?
Simple samples take 10-18 working days after project details are confirmed. Pricing and delivery are confirmed after project review. Bulk production takes 20-30 working days after sample approval.
