Send a reference photo or target garment and our team recommends a finish and fabric direction before quoting. - Stone and acid washing are physically abrasive, so we recommend heavyweight, high-cotton fleece or French terry; light jerseys are steered toward gentler enzyme washing instead.

- Piece-to-piece variation is part of the finish, not a defect — acid wash is the highest of the three, garment dye and enzyme wash are the most consistent.
- Sequencing
- Wash normally runs before printing or embroidery so later decoration is not aged along with the fabric; the sample is where the sequence gets locked.

What we build, in detail
Garment dye
Garments are cut and sewn from undyed, prepared-for-dye fabric, then dyed as a finished piece — seams and stitching take the dye along with the body. 100% cotton takes it evenly; blends go heathered.
Acid wash
Bleach-soaked stones tumble against the garment, stripping color wherever they touch. No two pieces match. The effect reads strongest on black, charcoal or navy bases and needs sturdy, high-cotton fabric to survive the process.
Fabric requirements
Stone and acid washing are the most physically demanding of the three — heavyweight, high-cotton fleece or French terry holds up best. Garment dye and enzyme wash are gentler and suit a wider fabric range.
Sequencing with decoration
Printing over a wash gives clean graphics on a textured ground; washing over a print ages the artwork with the fabric. Both are valid — the sequence is a spec decision made before sampling.

What is the difference between garment dye and vintage wash?
Garment dyeing adds color to a finished garment sewn from undyed fabric; vintage washing removes or softens color from a garment already dyed. They can also be combined — garment dye followed by an enzyme wash is a common premium recipe.
Why does acid wash need heavier fabric?
Acid wash tumbles the garment with bleach-soaked stones, which is physically demanding on the fibers. Heavyweight, high-cotton fleece or dense French terry holds up; light jerseys risk thinning or tearing.
How much will washed garments vary piece to piece?
It depends on the finish. Enzyme washes are nearly uniform, stone wash and sun-fade vary moderately, and acid wash makes every piece visibly unique. Some variation is inherent to garment washing.
