A sample is strongly recommended so stitch density, placement, thread colour and surface result can be approved before bulk production.

Patch or direct embroidery — how do I choose?

Patch when you want the badge object: defined edge, maximum stitch density, reusable across products. Direct when branding should sit flat and integrated. The cost difference is modest at streetwear sizes; the look is the real decision.

Can you reproduce fine detail and gradients in thread?

Fine gradients need adaptation — thread is not ink. We flag what translates directly and what needs redrawing at design review, and the physical sample settles it.
